Sometimes I wake up with this music in my head.
One of my favourite releases on the label, I picked it up about six months ago and we still play it all the time.
The two tracks are suites/mixes of several songs. Beautiful meandering and hazy pieces, melancholic melodies snake and wind around each other. Guitars, samples and keys are partners in a slow dance rather than jostling for position in the mix. Imaginary voices singing and chanting from the darkness of the crowd.
I've been scratching my head as to how it was all written and put together, especially when you consider the limited equipment that was used to make it.
A really special record.
